The Raiders were a group of prisoners who preyed on their fellow prisoners in Camp Sumter. Six of their number were tried, convicted, and executed for their crimes. They were buried in the camp cemetery, apart from all the others. Their isolation continues to this day. Andersonville National Cemetery, Andersonville National Historic Site, Georgia.
